Founded by the family of the late Braedon Hyland, the Braedon Hyland Hockey Foundation seeks to raise money to provide scholarships for players ages 0-18 struggling to afford the sport of hockey. The average family of a hockey player spends approximately $1,000 per child per year. Costs associated with playing hockey include required equipment and uniform needs which players must have to be safe on the ice. For many families the costs associated with the sport of hockey makes participation impossible. The Braedon Hyland Hockey Foundation’s mission is to make the game of hockey possible for all children regardless of their financial situation.
